Friends of Outwood Park is a small group of volunteers who work hard to make the most of Outwood Park for the benefit of the local community and those that live within it.
We are lucky to have such a lovely park space within our community and, as a group, we encourage visitors by holding events which are free to attend, family orientated and which focus on fun, recreation, nature, creativity and generally anything which we think may be well received.
There are 5 of us in the group and we all live in or around Outwood and we work full time so our time is limited. We are now on the lookout for new members who can help - we are looking for people who would be interested in joining our group, as a committee member or just an occasional event volunteer. Someone who is interested in our community and our park, someone who has ideas and enthusiasm.
